Ever-generation Sonatas have featured cutting-edge design cues, and the eleventh-generation model appears to be more accessible. The lines above the hood retain the design of the previous generation, while the continuous light strip and exaggerated front grille lend the vehicle a sporty feel.

The continuous LED light strip, a popular design feature today, integrates the daytime running lights and turn signals. The lower headlights are LED, and adaptive high and low beams are standard across all models.

The interior design retains the functional layout of the previous generation. A dual-screen display sits above the center console, the gear lever has been relocated behind the steering wheel, and a USB-C wireless charging pad and 12V power adapter are located below the center console.

All models come standard with AEB (Automated Emergency Braking). Except for the base trim, all other models include Level 2 driver assistance features, including lane centering and full-speed adaptive cruise control. 360-degree panoramic images are only available on high-end models.
